This is where most people meet us. A Flever room kit is a single open-fronted box — a cafe counter, a study, a flower stall, a bedroom under a sloping roof — built from laser-cut sheets and filled with dollhouse furniture you assemble piece by piece. The front closes with a sheet of plexiglass so the finished scene stays free of dust.
Scale varies a little between models, but the rhythm of the build does not: floor and walls first, then the big furniture, then the lighting, then the hundred small objects that take the longest and matter the most. Most of these kits are an evening or two of work for someone who has built one before, and a patient weekend for someone who has not.
We design every room here ourselves. Somebody draws the shop fronts, somebody else works out how the boxes of loose parts should be numbered, and a third person spends a week deciding where the flowers go and whether the little radio on the shelf earns its place. That is why two of our rooms never feel like the same kit with different paper on the walls.
A finished room is about the size of a hardback standing on its side, so it sits happily on a bookshelf, an office desk or the corner of a kitchen counter. People buy one for the craft and end up with four in a row, which is how a shelf of miniature rooms turns into a small world of its own.
If you are buying a miniature house kit as a gift and you do not know the person's tolerance for fiddliness, choose from this section rather than from the full dollhouse kits. A room is finishable. A villa is a commitment, and an unfinished villa is a sad thing to own at Christmas.
Most of our rooms finish at roughly eight by seven by five inches — a hardback novel lying on its side. The exact figures are on the listing for each kit, because a few of the corner shops and garden scenes run wider than the rest.
Yes. Every room kit in this section includes all of its dollhouse furniture as flat laser-cut parts you assemble and glue. Nothing arrives pre-built, which is the point, and nothing has to be bought separately to finish the scene.
Yes, with patience. A room kit asks for careful fingers rather than any skill you do not already have. Read the booklet through before you open the glue, sort the parts into saucers by sheet number, and give the first build two unhurried evenings instead of one rushed one.
“Very nice model, take your time and don't rush. Everything is in the set to make it a really nice piece. A little clear coat makes it look really nice .”
“I put this together with my 9 yr old granddaughter. It took us 3 days, working 3 hrs each day. We both loved doing the project and it turned out great! I replaced the god saying graphic with a picture of g'daughter's dog and added her name to the door.”
“Keeps you very occupied, I love putting stuff together anyway, it's crazy because I'm still working on it! Lol but I love it tho! If you don't have patience I wouldn't recommend but if you love putting stuff together and being artistic and crafty I would recommend.”
